Over the past 20 years, I’ve started many businesses. Some became big wins. Others? Total flops. I lost time, energy, and money trying to figure it all out.
Eventually, I saw the difference: successful businesses aren’t just about working harder. They’re built around you - your strengths, your lifestyle, and what actually makes sense for your life.
I grew up in Ukraine and started hustling in college - selling whatever I could, learning on my own. When I moved to the U.S., I thought a regular job was the way. But my first one paid $7 an hour - and often didn’t pay at all. I knew I had to find another path.
I became obsessed with figuring out how to make money on my own. I tried everything - freelancing, selling online, offering services. Some things worked, some didn’t. But I kept learning.
Then I became a mom. Suddenly, “working for myself” wasn’t a nice-to-have - it was a must. I had to create something that ran without me constantly doing everything. That’s when I focused on building real systems, hiring help, and making my businesses run smoothly.
I also have a background in Psychology and Computer Science, which helped me understand both people and processes. That mix became my secret wea pon.
